What Procedures are Covered by Dental Insurance?
As a rule of thumb, procedures that are necessary for health are covered by dental insurance. That includes preventative care and dental procedures. Cosmetic dentistry, in most cases, is not covered.

When needed, we will help obtain preapproval from your insurance provider, and even help with appeals if necessary. Dental insurance, just like health insurance, can seem complicated. But with us in your corner, we’ll make it as simple as possible.
What About Paying for Your Portion of the Charges?
When dental insurance doesn’t cover your procedure—or when they only cover a portion of it—we accept cash, check, credit card, or debit card. We also offer a flexible payment plan, which we encourage you to speak about with our Financial Coordinator.
We also accept CareCredit for dental service charges not covered by insurance. When you participate, you can get no interest* financing or low minimum monthly payment options. The application is simple and approval is practically instant. Visit https://www.carecredit.com/ for more information and to apply.
We offer sunbit as a payment option to help bear the unexpected cost of dental work. Sunbit is easy to apply for and you can also get prequalified prior to coming in the office for your appointment. There is an 80% approval rating and is not a hard credit check. Visit https://sunbit.com/ for more information.
